In a thrilling showdown, YGG Esports’ Disi and Sequinox faced off against one another during the YGG takeover of the Wildcard Arena hosted by Wildcard Alliance’s Brad Weir.
During YGG’s takeover of the Wildcard Arena, the Web3 gaming community got front-row seats to YGG Esports’ cross-game excellence. YGG Esports Captain Disi teamed up with mrh0use to form the Blue Team, facing off against fellow YGG teammate Sequinox and Dragoonn on the Red Team. With shoutcasting by Wildcard’s own Luke Skywalker, the stream gave fans an inside look at the high-level gameplay that has fueled YGG Esports’ streak of tournament wins and leaderboard placements.
Right before their showdown, YGG co-founder Gabby Dizon joined host and Wildcard Alliance Lead Game Designer Brad Weir on stream to walk through the presentation and mechanics of YGG’s debut game LOL Land.
Below is a link to the stream, hosted on the immersive streaming platform Thousands. The stream virtually seated viewers inside the Wildcard Arena, visible as virtual avatars in-game with custom swag to boot.
Thanks to its unique blend of MOBA action and card-based strategy, Wildcard has steadily built hype within the Web3 gaming community since its announcement in 2022, and looks to build on that momentum through more of these gripping exhibition bouts.
