How Streamers Stack Abstract XP Playing LOL Land
Where does LOL Land fit into the current Web3 meta? Kyroh, WolvesDAO’s 1ogic, and Ronin Radio’s Gila break it down in a new episode of the YGG Community Roundtable.
Casual games have hooked many multi-millions of players over the years with simple loops that deliver low-effort, high-reward experiences. Many players keep these games running on a second screen as background entertainment or to continue their progress while working on their daily tasks. In the case of YGG’s LOL Land, streamers on Abstract have uncovered a new meta — streaming the game alongside other content to optimize their rewards on the creator-focused chain.
During the most recent YGG Community Roundtable, YGG Head of Guilds Kyroh brought on his friends, WolvesDAO member 1ogic and Ronin Radio founder Gila, to discuss recent trends in Web3, including the rise of Loudio and attention-driven tokenomics, how Abstract gamifies the experience of interacting with it, and LOL Land’s place within the greater industry.
The following is an excerpt from their discussion, where Kyroh and Gila go over Abstract’s XP-based rewards system and the streamer-friendly nature of LOL Land.
YGG Community Roundtable Ep. 3! | LOL Land and Everything Web3 Gaming!
Kyroh (40:08): LOL Land … is YGG’s first game that they have launched, and they chose Abstract Chain to do it on. If you guys haven't yet, go try it out. You can play for free, and it's essentially like Web3 Monopoly Go.
For me, this is becoming one of my new ways to farm Abstract XP for free. Every day, I just go on, I use the autorolls, and I just let it do its thing. They have a really cool collaboration with Pudgy Penguins. They've done a couple of different maps, and they have a Pudgy map right now — you can go and see Gabby's Pudgy Penguin there on the map. If you guys haven't tried it, make sure you go give it a shot. It's YGG’s first game — a good piece in crypto history.
Gila (42:53): Shout out to YGG. I've actually been planning to stream. It gives double XP, the streaming XP and the XP from playing as well. Is it multiplayer yet?
Kyroh (43:09): It's a very hypercasual game. You're literally just going on, getting your rolls, setting it to autoroll, and then letting it accumulate points for you. If you were streaming on Abstract, you can just put it in a mini window as part of your stream while you're doing something else.
